This coming Tuesday, June 26th, is the Day Of Silence for webcasters. What does this mean? It means this coming Tuesday, June 26th, when you tune in to Beauty From Ashes Radio, and I want you to listen All day, you will not hear any music. Now you are probably thinking "why should I listen if there will be no music?" because you want to be entertained, of course. Well if the decision made on March 2nd by The Copyright Royalty Board in Washington DC, to increase the royalty rates for webcasters goes into effect on July 15th (which is 21 days away), there will be NO more Internet Radio from Beauty From Ashes Radio for you to enjoy, to entertain you. So if we won't be playing music then what will be be doing on June 26th? We will be airing a stream set up by another webcaster that has no music and lots of information about the death of Internet Radio, what you - the listeners can do to prevent it. If you listen ALL day on the 26th of June, that will show how much you care and how great your support is for Beauty From Ashes Radio and Internet Radio as a whole. To listen to us, go to community.loudcity.com/stations/beauty-from-ashes-radio and click on "Tune In." When you click "Tune In," you will be taken to a page that asks what your connection speed is (cable/dsl or dial up), then you click "Save." After you do that it will take you back to the page you were on and you willl here the information about what you can do to keep Beauty From Ashes Radio and thousands of other Internet Radio stations on the air! We need you support, your show of solidarity. I'm calling upon Every Member of this Board to listen to us that day. We can not exist without you - the listeners, please help us.
